Disc magnet -A magnet shaped in the form of a circular disk, with a thickness less than its diameter; that attracts iron & produces a magnetic field. These magnets usually are magnetized through the length/thickness (axially) , but may also be magnetized diametrically (around the rim). The magnetic poles & strengths vary specifically to each individual magnet produced. Neodymium disc magnets are the strongest permanent disc magnets produced, used widely for holding purposes; like jewelry cases, high-end packaging, magnetic therapy, & crafting
Over 130 rare earth magnets are available with the diameters from ¼” to ½” . Special sizes can be ordered as Custom Made Magnets.
These powerful magnets come in grades that include N35, N42, N45, N50, and N52. The Residual Magnetic Flux Density is from 13,500 up to 14,400 Hauss or 1.35 to 1.44 Tesla. Our ½” diameter rare earth magnets have a pulling force ranging from 1.3 lbs to 45 lbs.
