1. Do You Ship to My Location?

We ship to USA 50 States, USA territories and the countries and regions all over the world where the USPS, UPS and Fedex can safely deliver the packages. Be more specific, we ship to North and South America, the Europe Union and the Middle East, Central America and East Europe, Asia and Africa. You can check the eligibility of your location by making a sample shopping cart (total item weight should be less than 100 LBs) and click the Add Info link above the check out Button. After you input your address info, the system will provide you an estimated shipping cost. But should the shipping cost does not show up, instead of showing an error message, please contact us with your shipping address so we can find out if your location is deliverable or not.  

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Since magnets are special commodities, please be notified that in some cases we may change the shipping courier from USPS to UPS in order to have your order delivered safely.   


 

2. What is Your Return Policy?

You may return new, undamaged items within 15 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect, damaged or defective item, etc.).  After 15 days and up to 30 days, a 15% restocking charge applies. We will not take any returns after 30 days of delivery.

To get the full refund of your purchase, the returned items have to be in the original, undamaged conditions. When you send the magnets back, it is very important to pack them with sufficient and sturdy stuffing material around the magnets  to prevent damages during the transportation, just in the same way as we do since the magnets may attract to the shipping truck and get lost or damaged.

It is strongly recommended to use UPS or Fedex as the shipping method and claim enough insurance. CMS is not responsible for any shipping damages or losses happened during the transportation when they are shipped back.

After we receive the returns we will check the product conditions and make the refund accordingly.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).


 

3. How to Make a Return Request?

1.) If you made the purchase with an online account, please log into your account and click the link Completed Orders on the left of the screen, and then click the button Return Item(s) in the center of the screen. Choose the reason of the return and click the button SUBMIT RETURN REQUEST.

2.) If you made the purchase anonymously, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions on how to return items in your order. 


 

4. How Much is the Shipping Cost?

The actual shipping cost depends on the total weight of the items of your order, your shipping address and the shipping method of your choice. To find out exactly how much you will be charged on the shipping, you can add the items you want to order to cart, click add info link to the right of the shipping cost and input the basic address info (Country, City, State and Zip Code) so you can then click ESTIMATE SHIPPING button to see the shipping cost for your order. It normally shows the USPS shipping cost and you need to click a link to show the UPS shipping options.  


 

5. How Many Days does it Take for My Order to Arrive?

No. of Days to Arrive = No. of Days of Handling + No.of days in Transit

No. of Days of Handling is the number of days we take to process your order. Most items will take one business day to get ready except wind products. Since we don't operate on weekends, the orders made on Friday and weekends may need up to two business days. For the UPS Next Day, 2nd Day and 3 Day orders, we will ship it out the same day if your order is placed before 1:00 PM central time.

No. of Days in Transit is what the carrier takes to deliver the order to you after it is picked up. It is depending on the carrier and the shipping method you chose when you checkout your order.

 

6. How to Ship Magnets Safely? How to Ship Magnets by Air Safely?

To avoid magnets attract to the shipping truck or other handling equipment during transit, magnets have to be well packed to stay in the middle of the shipping box so it will not attract to these facility through the wall of the cartoon box and get lost. The basic method is to use light and sturdy material to wrap the magnets around and set it in the middle of the box. Normally we use bubble wrapper, styrofoam or wood boards which will not become slack during the transit. The stronger the magnets, the more sturdy the material needs to be and so is the thicker the wrap. 

Shipping magnets by Air needs to follow FAA regulations to avoid interfering with the airplane navigation system. The modern airplane may not be influenced by magnetic field caused by the permanent magnets but you never know what airplane will be used to carry your magnets so follow FAA regulation is required.

The FAA regulation requires the Gauss rating of a parcel should be less than 0.0525 Gauss from 15 feet away, which can be measured with a milligauss Meter. The special designed shipping system for this purpose is available on the market and which becomes very handy should you need to ship by air frequently.

The easiest and most economical way to meet FAA regulation is using sheet metal to seal out the magnetic field around all 6 sides of shipping box and use stuffing material to keep the magnets a distance from the sheet metal. If your build does not work out, you can check if there are openings between the sheet metal and cover them with the same material or even add another layer of stuffing material and sheet metal outside of your build.
