Our Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) Block Magnets, model SMB008-26, have exceptional strength and high-temperature resilience. These premium quality sintered SmCo magnets, measuring 1/2 inch square and 1/8 inch thick, are crafted from top-grade Sm2Co17 material. With magnetic characteristics close to neodymium magnets, each of these magnets provides a robust 4.1 lb holding force.
Unlike neodymium magnets, SmCo magnets offer superior temperature stability, making them ideal for high-temperature environments such as the tooling or oil industries. This particular grade can operate efficiently in conditions up to 608°F (320°C).

Purchased several of these to use in the barn . Gets wet out there and it is better than Neodymium in those conditions. Like a Charm
