N45 Neodymium Disc Magnet 3/8"x1/16" Rare Earth Disc Magnet
Strong Neodymium disc magnets N35 ,N40, N42, N45, N50 & N52 At CMS Magnetics & Magnets For Sale Neodymium disc magnets come in many sizes & grades. CMS has samarium cobalt magnetic discs and ceramic disc magnets as well.
This Neodymium Disc Magnet measures 3/8"x1/16" thickness and is made of a grade N45 neodymium magnetic alloy blend, patent licensed and made under the ISO 9001 quality systems. They are plated in a nickel-copper-nickel coating for a shiny corrosion-resistant finish. The North and South poles are on the flat sides of this Neodymium Disc Magnet. The pull force of these Neodymium Disc Magnets is 2.1 lbs. This is a great disc magnet for use in personal projects as well as for crafts and closures and can also be used to help keep objects secured or fastened to any ferrous surface.
Features:
- Gauss Rating(Br): 13,500 Gauss
- Pole Orientation: Axially magnetized, poles are on the two flat surfaces
- Pulling Force: 2.2 LBS
- Coating: Ni+Cu+Ni 3 layer plated
- Tolerance: Manufacturing Tolerance + /- .0002" including coatings
- MAGNETS COATED - Ni+Cu+Ni (nickel, copper and nickel )Triple Layer Coated. The Best Coating Available, which Provides a Shiny and Rust Resistant Protection for the Magnets.
Warning:
- All magnets may chip and shatter, but if used correctly can last a lifetime.
- Keep away from pacemakers and children, parental supervision strongly encouraged
- If damaged please dispose of completely. Shards are still magnetized and if swallowed can inflict serious damage
Our small Neodymium Disc magnets are used both in the high tech arena and at the opposite end of the spectrum by individual hobbyists, inventors & tinkerers.
About Neodymium Magnets
Neodymium rare earth Ring magnets are actually 10x stronger than the strongest ceramic magnets! Unlike most other types of magnets, Neodymium is highly resistant to demagnetization and will not lose their magnetization around other magnets or if dropped. They are magnetized through the thickness. They are composed of neodymium iron boron magnetic material. About Rare Earth Neodymium Magnets Rare earth magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet currently made. All Neodymium magnets are rare earth magnets but there are other types of magnets in the rare earth family. Neodymium is however the most popular & cost effective. Rare earth magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnet currently made. The Rare earth family of magnets consist of basically 2 types of magnets. Neodymium magnets are notoriously resistant to demagnetization in and operating environment below 176 degrees F.. Neodymium is a rare earth element. Samarium cobalt magnets although not quite as strong, are a great substitute for neodymium when temperatures in the operating area reach more that 175 Degrees F. Neodymium, as sold on the market is actually an alloy consisting of the rare earth element neodymium, iron & Boron. The ratios of the mix are in part responsible for the strength differences of the magnets. You may see the element’s symbols Neodymium (Nd), Iron (Fe) & Boron (b). This rare earth Ring magnet was created through a sintering process. Sintering is the process of compacting and forming a mass of material (this case a alloy) with heat or pressure but keeping it from getting to the liquefaction stage then pressing it into the final magnet shape.
CMS Magnetics offers the highest quality Neodymium magnets with consistent performance and lowest price.
Neodymium disc magnets are used for many things such as:
- Homeowners for hanging seasonal speakers outdoors
- Teachers for hanging decorations for classrooms & even getting kids involved with physics
- Garage owners for hanging hand tools, bicycles, signs, bottle openers whiteboards...
- Home chefs Hanging grilling utensils
- Car owners keeping a glove box closed
- Purse owners keeping it closed
- Jewelry owners keeping it around your neck or wrist
- Magicians performing feats of magic

Warranty
This magnet includes a 10-year warranty for its magnetic strength, provided it is used under normal conditions. Usage in environments with elevated temperatures, significant vibration, or intense opposing magnetic fields will render this warranty null and void. It is also not suitable for use outdoors or in areas with high humidity or salt content, unless additional protective insulation measures are implemented.Product Videos
