1.26" Cup Magnet - 88 LB Pull Force
This new through-threaded neodymium cup magnet has a female threaded stud going entirely through the center of the magnet. Due to the center hole being fully threaded through the entire thickness of the magnet instead of being a raised stud, it offers a similar amount of threads in a much slimmer package. This makes it much easier to incorporate this magnet into custom assemblies or even for light duty magnet fishing.
This magnet measures 1.26" (32mm) in diameter and 3/8" (9.5mm) in thickness, and has a #10-32 female threaded through hole. As with all other cup magnets, the base strength and power of a raw neodymium magnet is almost tripled because of a circuit that concentrates the available magnetic field by using all of the north pole of the magnet and a portion of the south pole, resulting in a pull force of 88 lbs! At the same time, the steel cup also protects the magnet from being damaged when it's frequently used. In order to ensure maximum pull force is achieved, make sure that this magnet is in complete contact with the surface you're attempting to attach it to. Cup magnets are sensitive to certain conditions and will have a reduced pull force if the surface is painted or the magnet is not allowed to come into complete contact with the metal.
An added benefit of having the magnet be completely threaded through the magnet is that other applications for this magnet become possible. In applications in which a strong magnetic hold is required, but the magnet also needs to be easily removed, an eyebolt or screw that’s been threaded into the magnet can simply be tightened to lift the magnet off of the surface. Once the magnet has been slightly separated from the surface it will then be much easier to pull off. This is perfect for applications where the magnet will be used in a tight space and may be difficult to remove otherwise.
Warranty
This magnet includes a 10-year warranty for its magnetic strength, provided it is used under normal conditions. Usage in environments with elevated temperatures, significant vibration, or intense opposing magnetic fields will render this warranty null and void. It is also not suitable for use outdoors or in areas with high humidity or salt content, unless additional protective insulation measures are implemented.Product Videos

EXCELLENT MAGNETS!!
Rare Earth Pot Magnet with Coaxial Tapped 10-32 Hole. These magnets work very well for hanging items within their capacity rating. They are also good for demonstrating the force required to pull them off a steel plate (physics demo). Other uses: identification of ferrous and non-ferrous metals; add a rod handle and they are good at picking-up dropped ferrous parts. They are also strong enough to function as magnetic bases for certain applications and pulling steel bar stock off the rack. Excellent magnets!
