Product Description
405 LB Power Fishing Magnets | Magnetic Fishing Magnets
These 405 LB Neodymium Fishing Magnets are exceptionally powerful for their size, offering versatile applications. With a diameter of 2.95" and a thickness of 0.71", these fishing magnets are encased in steel and feature an ultra-reinforced connection ring and stud for enhanced durability.
What Makes the Best Magnet for Magnet Fishing?
At CMS Magnetics, we believe the best magnet fishing magnets have a reinforced stud. Without double reinforcement where the stud enters the casing, you risk losing your fishing magnet due to mechanical failure. Our fishing magnets are the best on the market, with consistent performance and superior strength.
Optimal Weight Range for Fishing Magnets
The ideal fishing magnets are in the medium weight range, ensuring they are strong enough to attach to submerged metal but not too strong to retrieve. Fishing magnets rated between 400-500 lbs provide the best balance. The parachute cord typically used has a tensile strength of 550 lbs, making this range practical.
Durability and Protection
Our neodymium fishing magnets feature a triple coating of nickel, copper, and nickel again to prevent corrosion. Encased in steel, the magnets focus their force in a single direction and are protected from physical damage. The provided eyebolt can be replaced with your own designs for easy customization.

Magnet Fishing Techniques
Magnet fishing involves tying a rope to a fishing magnet and tossing it into a suitable body of water to retrieve metallic items. Choose locations with historical significance or high traffic near bridges for the best results. Always use reinforced magnets like ours to avoid losing them during retrieval.
Neodymium Magnets
Neodymium rare earth magnets are ten times stronger than the strongest ceramic magnets and are highly resistant to demagnetization. Composed of neodymium, iron, and boron, these magnets are ideal for fishing due to their strength and durability.
CMS Magnetics offers the best fishing magnets, with superior strength, durability, and competitive pricing. Our magnets are designed for practical and efficient use, making them the top choice for magnet fishing enthusiasts.
Warranty
This magnet includes a 10-year warranty for its magnetic strength, provided it is used under normal conditions. Usage in environments with elevated temperatures, significant vibration, or intense opposing magnetic fields will render this warranty null and void. It is also not suitable for use outdoors or in areas with high humidity or salt content, unless additional protective insulation measures are implemented.Product Videos

405 lbs. magnet
I bought this so I could take my g-son magnet fishing as he has been watching videos and wanted to try. The reviews of various magnets on Amazon were hit n miss, and some had a zero return policy so I decided to order this one. Shipping was really fast, and the magnet was packed very good to prevent damage while in transit. This magnet is very strong and will no doubt pull in some heavy stuff but I haven't had the chance to try it out yet except sticking various misc metal to it. I even had to use pliers to get one piece off. I've put red thread lock on the screw, put a rope on it and we're ready to go try it.

Great Magnet-to-Cup Ratio
This is a very potent magnet. I was able to levitate up to around 10-20lbs using this in combination with 20lbs of 14awg magnet wire (the same brand as sold here) coiled around a 1x4 steel core pulling 500 watts total. I was buying from CMS off Amazon until I realized their headquarters was 15 miles down the road. Now I'm going back for those surplus monster magnets.

Neodymium 405 lb fishing magnet
Have only used once but worked great. Retrieved a bunch of lures from one of my favorite spots including a few I had lost over the past year. Also pulled in chairs and various pieces of steel. Quite strong for its size.

WOW! I am an old stuff collector from way back and this magnet fishing is fun. I havenet caught anything that would get me on the Roadshow yet but I pulled up an old boat motor and an old safe (too bad it was already open).

I love this! Its fun to get out and find treasures with friends. Has a great pull strengh. Gets stuck in rocks some but haven't lost it yet! I'm new at this so figureing it out, don't pull it through rocks should bob it up and down!
The more I use it the more I want to look into a pulling magnet, a two sided one maybe. First to sell some finds, then another magnet! Thank you for getting me off the couch!
