Neodymium magnets are also known as NdFeB magnets, the strongest permanent magnets man made so far. The actual holding forces depend on the grades and the dimensions of the magnets. This listed magnet is made of grade N42 neodymium magnet material with Ni+Cu+Ni triple layer coating, the best coating available. The poles of the magnet are at the two 1"X1" ends. The magnet is made to the industrial standard tolerance, i.e. +/-0.0002" and all the edges are rounded for easy installation and safe handling.
